The Atomic toy clone is a truck I built about a year ago. This was loosely based on the atomic toy Jason Veal built. I have always loved Jason’s Toyota and wanted to put my twist on it. 
I wanted the truck to be as realistic as possible so I planned on building a ladder style chassis, leaf springs all around and a full interior. First step was pick some axles what would look as scale a possible. My first choice was the RC4WD 1.9 scale yota axles but I chose the RC4WD T-Rex 60 axles. For rims and tires I want with 1.9 RC4WD Rok lox on 1.9 RC4WD rough rider beadlocks. The body is a Tamiya Hilux cab and I will build a tube style flat bed. Leaf springs are from a Tamiya Ford F-350 with custom made shackles.
